I wanted to give a shout out to my husband & wine (wannabe) sommelier Steve. He is one of the reasons we find ourselves searching for great wine in California & Italy as often as we can. Steve is a wine maker and our wine cellar has three of his red wine blends. The reason for the shout out can be seen below. He entered his first wine competition with his 2013 Italian Barolo and received a bronze medal. It was a proud moment in our household:)
